Tank Mixing Eductor is an industrial device which is widely known to produce vacuum to suck the secondary gas or fluid. The main variance between Ejector and Eductor is that Eductor utilizes as a motive fluid and Ejector makes use of Air or Steam as its motive fluid. With some constructional differences, the vacuum can be made. It is widely used in several industries for a wide variety of applications.
Working Principles
Tank Mixing Eductor operates in accordance with the well-known Bernoulli balance. The high pressure/low velocity motive fluid gets changed into a higher velocity & lower pressure, with the help of a nozzle. Secondary low pressure fluid can be entrained well.
Sizing of Tank Mixing Eductor
The diameter of the Eductor is based on the volumetric flow rate. The internal part of the Eductor such as sizing of the jet nozzle is based on the suction requirement. The educator allows for pressure drop, advanced motive fluid pressure, and requisite of downstream pressure.
